Sonics OEM Kits
Sonics’ 40 and 20 kHz Ultrasonic Generator Kits are ideal for OEM’s, special machinery builders and systems integrators. The kits are available in a variety of configurations and platforms to meet the unique layout and space requirements of the machine designer’s control panel. Integrating the ultrasonic generator kits with a systems PLC for logic and cycle functions, these kits are used for a variety of plastics welding, staking and inserting applications and are particularly suited for multiple ultrasonic stack sequencing systems.

| Ultrasonic Stack (Horn/Booster/Converter) Converter:Converts electrical energy to mechanical energy in the form of ultrasonic mechanical vibrations. Booster:Means to mechanically secure the stack and used to increase or decrease amplitude by physical input / output gain ratio. Horn:Transmits ultrasonic vibrations to the plastic part or insert. Note:Horns can connect direct to the converter (No booster) Converter model: CV154 & CVR233
Slimline Actuator 20 kHz – Model 2096 40 kHz – Model 4096 Slimline actuator designed for automated systems Can be mounted in virtually any position on a bridge or other rigid structure Optional linear encoder for distance welding
